The Cyprus Marathon is proud to announce its partnership with TUI, one of the world’s leading tourism groups, as the new Title Sponsor and Official Distribution Partner of the event. Starting from 2026, the iconic race will be officially known as the TUI Cyprus Marathon.
The multi-year agreement marks a significant evolution for the most historic long-distance running event on the island. The partnership will enhance the already strong international appeal of the Cyprus Marathon, offer improved travel accessibility, and align with TUI’s growing sports tourism strategy across the Mediterranean.

A Mediterranean Race with Global Appeal
Held annually every March in Pafos, the Cyprus Marathon is the island’s oldest and most iconic long-distance race. Since its founding in 1999, it has welcomed thousands of runners from over 80 countries to experience the blend of sport, history, and Mediterranean hospitality. Starting from Aphrodite’s Birthplace and finishing at the 13th century Medieval Fort, the TUI Cyprus Marathon takes runners through a historic journey.
The 2026 edition, taking place on Sunday, 8th of March, will feature a Full Marathon, Half-Marathon, 10KM, the 5KM Sunset Run, and the exciting Cyprus Wine Run.
As part of this new partnership, TUI will also serve as the exclusive travel and distribution partner, offering complete race packages through TUI shops, the TUI app, and online. This will make participation in the TUI Cyprus Marathon easier than ever for runners worldwide.
